Vintage 2001 Buck / Strider 888 “Solution” Fighting Knife USA SB.3 BOS ATS-34

In the early 2000s, the famous Buck Knives collaborated with another renowned knife company, Strider, to produce a series of rugged yet sleek folding and fixed blade fighting knives. The Buck Strider 888 “Solution” remains one of the scarcest of the series to encounter today. This Vintage 2001 BUCK STRIDER 888 SOLUTION FIGHTING KNIFE is in excellent condition, with some light sharpening to the blade edge, some scattered scratching and spot darkening at each side of the blade, and with some light scattered age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the knife is in excellent shape, with no other damage. Most interestingly, it features a hefty 4 5/8″ drop point, bead blasted blade, sports finely checkered black G-10 fiberglass laminate handle scales secured by two thick metal rivets and with a neatly drilled lanyard hole at bottom, and is stamped at the lower left side of the blade with its makers, “STRIDER / BUCK”, along with the classic Strider logo, and the model/year code, “SB.3” over a downward facing bracket, the latter of which denotes manufacture in 2001. It’s marked “BOS” to the right of a flame symbol at the lower right side of the blade, above “ATS-34 / U.S.A.”, and is complete with the original Vintage Buck Strider OD Nylon Scabbard in very good condition
