Lakota Little Hawk 271 USED This knife features original leather sheath, box, and even the papers! Lakota “Li’l Hawk” folding lockback hunting knife, made in Seki, Japan by Sei Kanematsu, probably ca. 1980s. The Lakota Li’l Hawk, and similar Lakota Hawk fixed blade knife, were designed by an avid hunter who wanted a knife that could be easily carried on the hunt, and was tough enough to field-dress big game. What makes the Lakota Hawk and Li’l Hawk knives unique is that they can be set down on a surface (such as the ground or a pickup truck bed) without the blade touching the surface, so as to avoid contaminating game while field-dressing. This knife features a stainless steel clip point blade, a blade locking device, steel bolsters, brass liners, and wood handle scales. Length closed is 4-7/8″. The blade is tang stamped Lakota Li’l Hawk US Pat. No. D248,039 on one side, and Sei F Kanematsu Seki Japan on the other side.
