Hen Rooster CM-9 300 Savage Canoe was made at the Betram Cutlery in Solingen Germany. A.G. Russell from Alabama owned it from 1975 to 80 when it went bankrupt. The firm made high quality knives and was founded in 1864. The Savage 300 canoe was produced under his ownership. It functions very smoothly with half stop tang and excellent snap. Note the inside of knife was highly polished when made. The shield is the Savage .300 round. The serial number engraved is 2008. The blade has factory edge and little to no use. The stainless handles do have a few light scratches. It is in excellent condition. 3 1/4″ closed
