The Story Behind Old Hound

Howdy y’all my name is Colt D. Copeland. Born and raised in Texas around my fathers 2,000 acre ranch in Smiley Tx in historic Gonzales county just south of San Antonio. Naturally as a boy growing up in a place filled with stories of the Alamo, Jim Bowie, Davey Crocket and Come and Take it I have been passionate about using knives for over 20 years, ever since my dad gave me my first knife for a penny and set me loose on the ranch I was hooked. I started Old Hound Knife and Tool to bring semi custom mid tech line of knives and tools. I started small, with our first run of knives being limited to 25, but have since started our second run of high-quality knives which will be limited to 100 units. I wish to bring high quality craftsmanship at a reasonable cost with exciting designs that look as good as they work!
