Premium and Excellent Stag

In an effort to better define the quality of the Stag in the Stag handled knives, I've decided to separate it into 2 categories, Premium and Excellent.  Understand, that this is a 'best' effort to help the consumer make a decision on the quality of Stag they want to buy.

Whenever you buy Stag from TSA Knives, LLC or anyone else for that matter, don't hesitate to ask for more photo's prior to having us ship your order. 

In establishing the classification, it will not necessarily guarantee the exact result from shipment to shipment TSA Knives receives, but will separate the knives in our inventory into two categories.  The Premium's will represent the best knives within a shipment.  RARELY will you find an equal number in each category. 

So here's some of the criteria I will be looking at:

• Do the side panels match

• Is it relatively gnarly or smooth

• Are the panels symmetrical

• What is the degree of naturally occurring fractures (some fracturing is to be expected)

Does this guarantee you're getting a flawless example?  Nope.  Bear in mind that Stag is NOT a manmade product and therefore, similar to all things organic, perfection is rare and purely objective.   What I can guarantee is that when you purchase a Premium graded knife, you are getting the best representative sample from a shipment.
